A delegation of Russian war veterans placing a floral wreath at the memorial of Russian mariner Jury Viktorovich Redkin at Chittagong Naval Academy yesterday. The veterans took part in minesweeping operations in the Bay of Bengal right after the 1971 Liberation War when their colleague Redkin died in the line of duty and was buried at Redkin Point, a place named after him at the naval academy.
