Children with physical disability, under the banner of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad, yesterday form a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club in the capital, marking World Cerebral Palsy Day, to be observed today. Cerebral palsy is a physical disability that affects movement and posture. It occurs due to damage to the developing brain either during pregnancy or early childhood, according to Cerebral Palsy Alliance, an Australian non-profit organisation that supports people suffering from the disorder.
