A man walking by a high-voltage transformer, kept inside a cage, in Majhirhat area of Chattogram city yesterday. The transformer, which is set on a trolley, is also occupying part of the road. According to locals, it was set up temporarily around five months ago after the existing one went out of order. Akhtar Hossen, a third-year law student of Dhaka University, goes on hunger strike demanding the authorities again hold the “Gha” Unit admission test due to leak of question papers. He started observing the strike at the foot of Raju Memorial Sculpture on the university campus at 1:00pm yesterday, around two and a half hours before the publication of test results.
