Officials of the Wildlife Crime Control Unit of Forest Department yesterday rescued a wildcat from Panchabati area in Narayanganj’s Fatullah. The animal was rescued from the warehouse of a garment factory. Employees of the company on Sunday found the feline hiding in a pile of rubbish. Sensing their presence, it jumped at them, which prompted them to capture it. Upon searching the internet, the staff realised the cat belonged to an endangered species and informed the forest department. Photo: Star
