A procession with the national flag was brought out by people from all walks of life from the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan on March 23 to mark the first formal hoist of the country's national flag on March 23, 1971. The procession along with a daylong cultural event and discussion was organised by Jatiyo Potaka Utsob Ujjapon Committee.
