Lunar eclipse adorned Dhaka sky last night. A total eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun’s rays from directly reaching the natural satellite. The partial phase of this eclipse was visible in Bangladesh just after the moonrise. Pictures of the collage were taken between 5:51pm and 6:51pm.

Locals of Boronpara village in Khulna’s Batiaghata upazila has no source of safe drinking water. As a result, they are forced to walk around two kilometres every day to collect it from people’s homes. The photo was taken recently.
