Mangoes galore at the Kansat mango market in Chapainawabganj’s Shibganj upazila. Farmers say prices of different varieties of mangoes, including Guti, Langra, Khirsapati, Fazli and Amropali, are cheaper this year compared to that of last year because of good production. The popular summer fruit was sold for Tk 800 to Tk 2,400 per maund yesterday depending on variety and quality.
