Hand fans made from palm leaves are on sale on a rickshaw van in Dhaka’s Kamrangirchar yesterday. The fans were selling for Tk 50 to Tk 100 each, depending on size and quality. The sale of hand fans has picked up as many areas experience power cuts during the summer.
