The Argentina-Panama match in Buenos Aires on Thursday was more than an average international friendly as the occasion was set for the Albicelestes to celebrate on the pitch, and in front of their home crowd, following the Qatar World Cup triumph in December last year. The Estadio Monumental Stadium had been buzzing long before the match, which ended 2-0 in Argentina’s favour.
