Hanif urges candidates to accept polls results

Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif this morning called upon all the participants of the country’s maiden partisan municipal polls to accept the results whatever it might be.

“We all should be prepared to accept the poll results,” he told a press conference at the party’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka.

The briefing was organised to give the party’s primary evaluation over the ongoing municipality polls that kicked off at 8:00am.

He said expect some stray incidents, the overall polls environment was enthusiastic and peaceful.
