Meghna Alam's bank account details sought by BFIU

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has asked banks to submit the account details of model Meghna Alam.

The BFIU instructed banks to provide details of account statements, account opening forms, KYC profiles, locker accounts, and other related documents of Meghna Alam's accounts by this week, according to a letter. 

Former Miss Earth Bangladesh Meghna Alam was detained by detectives under the Special Powers Act on April 9 for allegedly posing a "threat to public safety, law, and order".

Meghna Alam was shown arrested in an extortion case filed at Dhanmondi Police Station over allegations of blackmailing foreign diplomats through romantic entrapment.
