Dhaka airport’s check-in to go manual amid 3-hr server downtime

Server based check-in and other related operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will remain suspended from 1:00pm to 4:00pm today due to scheduled maintenance work.

During this period, designated airlines will carry out check-in procedures manually.

Airport authorities have confirmed that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure uninterrupted passenger services. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport on time, in accordance with the schedules provided by their respective airlines.

"We sincerely seek everyone's cooperation and request you not to be concerned. With everyone's collective effort, we hope to manage this period smoothly, In Sha Allah," said Group Captain SM Ragib Samad, executive director of HSIA.

However, the server of immigration police at the airport remains fully operational, sources at the airport's Special Branch said.

Passengers are requested to complete immigration formalities in a timely manner, it said.
