The Bangladesh Biman's first hajj flight with 274 pilgrims abroad arrived in Saudi Arabia to a warm welcome on Saturday afternoon. The flight touched down at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah at 5:30pm (Saudi time) where officials of Bangladesh mission received them at the Hajj Terminal.

Khwaja Sharjil Hassan, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia, and acting Consul General Neyamat Ullah Bhuiyan along with other officers of the consulate received the pilgrims 'in good health and high spirits', said a message from the Saudi city.

Welcoming the guests, the ambassador briefed the pilgrims about the accommodation and other arrangements made by the Consulate General, Jeddah. The envoy requested them to follow rules and regulations of the government of KSA regarding Hajj.

Senior Saudi officials, volunteers, medical team members and IT personnel were also present at the Hajj Terminal.

Weather in Makkah and Madina is very cold now and the devotees were advised to carry warm clothes.
