BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said the party will not join the proposed all-party polls-time government.
"We will neither join the so-called all-party government, nor participate in the next general election under a political government," he said.
Fakhrul was speaking at a press briefing at the party's Nayapaltan head office in the capital to brief newsmen about the opposition-called 60-hour hartal that began this morning.
He also denied Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's allegation that BNP men were behind the 2009 BDR carnage.
