'Jamaat men' hurl cocktails at Bogra police station

Four people including two policemen were injured as the activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing, Islami Chhatra Shibir, allegedly hurled two cocktails inside the compound of Bogra Sadar Police Station today.
Operator Lutfur Rahman and Constable Johurul Islam received primary treatment at a local hospital.
The identities of the two other injured could not be known immediately, reports our Bogra correspondent.
Quoting locals, Gaziur Rahman, assistant superintendent of Bogra Sadar Police Station, told The Daily Star that some youths threw the cocktails inside the police station compound around 1:55pm and left the scene with motorcycles.
The Jamaat-Shibir men might have blasted the cocktails as police raided Shibir-dominated Jamilnagar in the town at noon, Rahman said.
Police conducted the drive to arrest the persons responsible for blasting cocktails near the residence of local superintendent of police yesterday, he added.
No one was arrested in this connection.
