Leaders of Muslim countries greet Shahabuddin

Heads of government and state of various Muslim countries have greeted President Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, reports UNB.

In separate messages, they greeted the President, government and people of Bangladesh on the occasion.

They also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Muslim Ummah.

So far, messages from Amir of Bahrain Hamad bin-Issa Al-Khalifa, Amir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani, President of Iran Sayyed Mohammad Khatami, President of Sudan Gen Omer Hassan Ahmed Albashir, President of Egypt Mohamed Hosne Mubarak, President of Mauritania Maaouya Ould Sid Ahmed Toya, President of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh and President of the Maldives Maumoon Abdul Gayoom have been received.
