Vietnam court jails journalist for seven years, sister tells AFP

A Vietnamese court on Tuesday sentenced a journalist and prominent government critic to seven years in jail on propaganda charges, his sister told AFP.

Nguyen Vu Binh, a political activist who wrote about corruption, land rights and the environment, was accused of producing propaganda against the state.
