The poem elaborately discusses how a person has no identity in the world if he does not have a surname, or if he is not aware of his ancestor's religion or eating habits.
It also directly points out the current political condition of India saying if a person does not have the documentation status of their five generations or if someone chooses to wear clothes differently than his ancestors he would be branded as an illegal immigrant.
At the end of the poem she says, opposition has no place in the nation and only the people having 'adhaar' cards linked to their phone numbers are considered the citizens of India under Modi's rule, The Times of India reports.
