Old time office supplies
As much as we all love a bit of vintage charm around the office now and then, there are some things that just have to go. Avoid going Mad Men all over your workplace and bury these antiquated oddities of yesteryears in the deepest darkest corner of desk drawers, or better yet, the rusty seedy-looking file cabinet that's probably filled with rats.
Rolodex
You can't possibly have second thoughts about this one. Retro pizzazz is one thing, but outright obsolete is another. Unless you get a kick out of flicking through a gazillion mind-numbingly identical name cards, possibly getting paper cuts in the process, seriously consider a contact management app.
Ink pots
After a great deal of looking around, we only found one guy in the office who still uses this medieval writing device. Faux fountain pens we understand, but an actual ink pot on your desk that's highly liable to spill all over that super important business proposal? Why not get a feather while you're at it?
Stamps and stamp pads
We refuse to believe a 21st century modern office still has these. Long gone are the days of personalised rubber stamps, redundant double identity confirmations and Artline ink pads. Or aren't they? Chuck those dried-out stamp pads gathering dust in your desk drawers and invest in a fancy signature pen instead.
Fake spit holder
This one we couldn't quite figure out. We asked around but nobody really knew what this once-esteemed and absolutely irreplaceable thingamajig readily available at our fingertips (literally) was called. All we know that it's actually pretty great to have a fingertip moistener, even if you don't work at a bank counting dirty notes all day.
