Falu sent back from Dhaka airport

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Mosaddak Ali Falu was denied to board on a flight for Saudi Arabia at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today.

Immigration authorities sent him back from the airport this evening, saying there was restriction from higher authorities, immigration sources said.

Falu was scheduled to board on an Emirates flight this evening to perform Umrah Hajj, an official concerned, seeking anonymity, told The Daily Star.

Earlier on June 18, the High Court granted Mosaddak Ali Falu permanent bail in a vandalism and arson case filed with Badda Police Station on February 1 this year, clearing the way for his release from jail.
