Chief Justice Latifur Rahman will go to India on a week-long visit to attend the Republic Day Parade and Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Supreme Court, reports UNB.

The Chief Justice will visit India at the invitation of the Indian Supreme Court.

During his absence from January 23 to 30, Bimalendu Bikash Chowdhury, the senior-most judge of the Appellate Division, will act as Chief Justice, said a press release.
