Lankan Air Force chief in city

Commander of the Sri Lankan Air Force Air Marshal J Weerakkody arrived in the city yesterday on a five-day visit, reports BSS.

He is accompanied by his wife and a three-member delegation.

Chief of the Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Jamal Uddin Ahmed received the guests at Zia International Airport. Senior BAF officers were present at the airport.

Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Ediriwera Gamage Dayanarida and other officials of the High Commission were also present to greet them.
