Infant’s body found in medicine packet

The body of an infant was found abandoned inside a medicine packet Dhaka Sher-e-Bangla Nagar this morning.

GG Biswas, officer-in-charge of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, said pedestrians informed police around 11:00am after they found the packet with the boy at the Dhaka international trade fair ground.

Sources at the Dhaka Medical College morgue said injury marks were found in the head of the boy.

Police later sent the body to morgue for autopsy.

The identity could not be known till now.
