First trailer of DC Comic’s ‘Suicide Squad’ revealed (video)

DC Comics was forced to release the first trailer of their upcoming superhero film, ‘Suicide Squad’ after it was illegally posted online by a comic con visitor.

The trailer was the major highlight of this year’s convention known for all things comic – right from films, books and series.

Sue Kroll, President Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution of Warner Brothers issues a statement along with the trailer which read as, “Warner Bros.

Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday.

We have been unable to achieve that goal.

Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed.

We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation.”

The trailer introduces us to the ‘Suicide Squad’ comprising of Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress and so on.

It’s everything you expect it to be and more – dark and eerie with a creepy soundtrack in the background.

It appears to be that the Suicide Squad, which is mainly a group of villains with super powers, kept under lock and key, under the control of Amanda Waller, the chief of a secret government agency, A.R.G.U.S., expected to take care of the so-called secret mission for the military.

Directed by David Ayer, ‘Suicide Squad’ will have an American release on August 5, 2016.
