It's True!
When Eva Green was growing up, she wanted to be an Egyptologist. It started with a visit to the Louvre and for three years she even tried to learn hieroglyphics. Eventually she ended up becoming an actress because she was very shy and she thought acting would allow her to become someone. According to Eva, her last name doesn't mean green and is pronounced “grain” instead of “green”. Eva admitted that she was reluctant to take the role of a Bond Girl in "Casino Royale", but after reading the script and realising that Vesper Lynd was deeper than most Bond Girls, she agreed to play the role.
