Ershad’s adviser detained for 12 hrs

A special adviser to Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad was detained for over 12 hours by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab).

Bobby Hajjaj, also the party’s spokesperson, was released around 11:30am today, more than 12 hours after he was detained by Rab-1 last night.

Rab officials interrogated Hajjaj throughout the night, Tareq Murtaza, an official of the research wing of JP, told The Daily Star.

Hajjaj was appointed by Ershad as the party’s spokesperson last Friday to convey his messages to the media.
