Painting competition on Independence Day in Bogra

Moumachi Khelaghor Ashor, noted children's and youth organisation of Bogra district, arranged a painting competition marking Independence Day at its premise of Seujgari area in the town on Friday.

Around 150 children, students of different schools, participated in the competition in five categories. Three prizes will be given to the winners from each category on Independence Day (March 26), at the premises of the organisation through cultural programme.

A huge numbers of guardians, well-wishers and spectators were present during the competition, as the participants painted the picture on the Independence War of Bangladesh in 1971 and its history.

Chairman of Runner Group and noted organiser, social worker Sairul Islam was the chief guest in the competition. The programme was presided over by the president of Moumachi Khelaghor Ashor, journalist Masudur Rahman Rana.
