Abdullah Al Mamun himself was a television producer, playwright and a director. But still not only in his drama but also in many famous playwrights' dramas Momtajuddin Ahmed and Rabeya Khatun have acted. In real life, Ferdousi Majumder is married to Ramendru Majumder, one of the renowned actors in drama. Tropa Majumder, the daughter of this couple has acted in many dramas in television. The drama was written considering Tropa when she (Tropa) first came to television screen as a lead actress.

As per time, Abdullah Al Mamun and Ferdousi Majumder were aging; this whole aging process had an effect on their dramas as well. Nowadays, the dramas that are made with this pair centers around their real age. The audiences are really fortunate that renowned actors such as Abdullah Al Mamun and Ferdousi Majumder are still elevating the world of drama.

After the liberation war, there was a hit pair among the mass, Al Mansur and Mita Chowdhury. Their appearance was not only restricted to dramas, they were also found hosting programs as well. At that time in most of Al Mansur's dramas the lead role was played by Mita Chowdhury. Apart from that they also had a different style of hosting; their hosting would seem like a portion of drama. They simply added a different edge to hosting. Like when hosting for a musical program, Al Mansur would hold a rose onto his hand while standing on the stage. While talking about the flower, four or five songs would be performed. After the program ends, he would then surprisingly present the flower to Mita Chowdhury.

Unfortunately, after one of them left for America due to personal reasons, and they were not able to act together in dramas ever since. Nowadays the dramas enacted by this pair can be seen in television.

Abdullah Al Mamun and Ferdousi Majumder, Al Mansur and Mita Chowdhury these pairs used to dominate the world of television. Most of the producers used to cast same old cast in their dramas. This consistence of casts might be out of love or out of respect.

Producer Abdullah Yusuf Imam used to include same old group of people in his dramas, and whenever the audience used to see them, they could easily recognize that it is his production. His preference in dramas was not limited to actors; he also had a specific taste in playwright as well.

Mustafa Monowar in his production of “Roktokorobi” gave the role of Nandini to Dilshad Khanom. Back then, in most of the dramas which were produced by Mustafa Monowar, the lead actress role was enacted by Dilshad Khanom. Earlier on during the production of big time dramas in television, producers used to call out for Azmeri Zaman. The producers back then had high amount of respect and faith in this actor.

Azmeri Zaman with her co-artist Golam Mustafa acted as a pair in many memorable dramas. If the popularity of television at that time would have been like today then we could have said that in most of the dramas this pair has acted.

In terms of pairing, one pair that is quite famous in television is Piyush Bondhopaddhya and Afroza Banu. Their characters Shahed and Shimu used to be in everybody's lips at that time.

But it is sad but true that the amount of appreciation and love this pair got from acting in “Shokal Shondha” was only short lived. Later on the pair was not able to create much chemistry in other dramas.

The one pair that created the most buzz in television was that of Afzal and Suborna. The amount of dramas that was enacted by this couple and the amount of time people talked about them made this pair one of the most loved pair in television. At that time the genre love or love related dramas was unimaginable without the pair of Afzal and Suborna. Suborna Mustafa and Asaduzzaman Noor used to act with Raisul Islam Asad in dramas.

But dramas with Afzal Hossain are still afresh in people's heart. Especially the drama “Parle Na Rumki” is still remembered by people who watched it. After Afzal Hossain, Suborna Mustafa pairing with Humayun Faridi was also popular among the people. They presented the audience with lots of dramas. Later on they got married to each other in real life as well.

Afterwards, Bipasha and Toukir acted in quite a lot of dramas, especially in package dramas. They created quite a stir among the audience with their amazing pairing. In real life Bipasha Hayat is the daughter of famous actor Abul Hayat and the wife of Toukir Ahmed. Bipasha and Toukir's wedding got lots of media coverage due to their celebrity status.
