Sylhet JCD president held

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested the president of Sylhet Jatyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) last night.

Md Sayeed Ahmed,41, who has several cases against him, was handed over to Shahporan Police Station after his arrest, Major SAM Faqrul Islam Khan, a deputy director (media) of Rab-9, said in a press release today.
