ASK demands judicial probe into Banshkhali killing

Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) today demanded a judicial investigation into the yesterday’s incident of killing four persons in a clash between law enforcers and locals in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong.

Thirty others were also injured in the clash over the installation of a coal-based power plant.

Expressing deep concern over the incident, the human rights organisation, in a media release, said, “We strongly condemn the law enforcers’ exercise of limitless power.”
