"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth says he considers himself a feminist and has praised his parents for the "positive influences" they have made in his life. The 32-year-old actor says his mother instilled a "lot of respect for women" in him and has praised her and his father for the "positive influence" they have made in his life. "My mum's a big feminist. I think that my views on things, as far as respect for women and so on, came from my mum. My dad has a very balanced and respectful view on a lot of things too. They were huge positive influences in my life," he added.

Hemsworth is thrilled to be starring in "The Huntsman: Winter's War" because it features a number of strong female characters played by the likes of Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron.
