Monalisa to make comeback with a TVC

Popular model and television actress Monalisa is returning to television screen after a four-year hiatus with a television commercial.  

She confirmed the news today, saying that she had signed for a television commercial of Jamuna Fan. 

Shooting for the TVC will begin on April 24 at Coke Studio in the capital. Syed Russel will direct the TVC. 

About her return to the screen, Monalisa said, “I made a name in media through modeling, and it is my passion. I am happy that I am returning to the screen once again with modeling.”

Though she was supposed to do a television play first, but shooting has been postponed till next month. The play will go on floor in the next month, and will go on air during the upcoming Eid. Mosharraf Karim will be seen alongside 
Monalisa in the single-episode play. 

“I am receiving a number of offers for Eid plays, but taking some time to choose plays. If I love the script, character, and director, I will do a number of plays for Eid,” added the actor. 

“An actor can get closer to people through television commercials, as the audience sees a commercial many times”, Monalisa said.

She was last seen in a TVC of a carbonated drink alongside Mahfuz Ahmed.
