16 DSCC officials suspended for negligence of duty

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) today suspended 16 taxation and deputy taxation officers temporarily for negligence of duty.

The officials were suspended temporarily as they were found to be negligent in performing their duties, said DSCC Public Relations Officer Uttam Kumar Roy.

Six of them are taxation officers while the remaining 10 are deputy taxation officers, he added.

The names of the suspended officials are: Ashrafuzzaman Hawlader, Junayed Amin, Shahjahan Ali, Sumona Yesmin, Iqbal Ahmed, Md Shahjahan, Moniruzzaman, Jasim Uddin, Baten Chowdhury, Jayed Hossain, Mosharraf Hossain, Mizanur Rahman, Md Ednan, Mejbah, Hedayet Ullah and Mahedul Hoque, adds UNB.
