Carrying jars full of water, two Khasia women and a child walk up the mountain pass to reach their Punji (settlement). It's a part of their daily ordeal to climb down and up the 200 feet path numerous times, in order to get safe water that gathers in a hole they have dug up at the bottom. The settlement is in a desperate need for adequate water supply and intervention of the authorities concerned.
