In the book “Ace Against Odds” which is scheduled to hit the book stores on July 1 this year, she has chronicled her journey to become the World No. 1 in the women's doubles rankings, reports our New Delhi correspondent.

Written by Sania along with her father Imran Mirza, the autobiography contains several anecdotes where she talks about the difficulties as well as the joys and triumphs that came Sania’s way.

"I hope the book is a useful roadmap to guide the next generation of tennis players from India. If my story can inspire even one youngster to the heights of winning a Grand Slam in the future, I will feel blessed," says Sania.

The tennis player underwent a significant change between August 2015 and March 2016, during which she bagged 41 consecutive wins with her doubles partner Martina Hingis and went on to become the World No. 1 in the Women's Doubles rankings.
