Eight people were killed as a truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Mymensingh Sadar upazila this morning. 

The accident took place in Gachhtola area around 11:45am, our Mymensingh correspondent reports quoting Mohammad Ali Sheikh, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Kotwali Police Station. 

The victims could not be identified immediately, the OC said.

All the deceased including a woman and two children were the passengers of the three-wheeler, said Kamrul islam, OC of the Kotwali Police Station.
