Types of annoying FIFA players
FIFA: the game football fans and video game freaks love to indulge in to spend time with friends. It is more than just a video game and true fans of the game will admit that we tend to let our emotions get the better of us while playing it.
As much as we love the thrill, excitement and pleasure that come with playing FIFA, we also risk tweaking our last nerve thanks to some of the most annoying gamers in the group.
Here are the types of FIFA players we all get mad at.
The Reactors
We all have that one friend who turns the serious mode on right from kick off. They will carefully orchestrate their tactics and swear out loud every time something goes against them. They play and react to every event in such a way as though their life depends on the game and furthermore, they tend to watch the match opening scenes and replays of goals which will irritate the life out of you.
The King of Excuses
These types of people lose most of their matches and take excuses to the next level. “I'm not a console player; I'm more of a desktop person”, “This controller has issues”, “I was sitting at an awkward angle to the TV”, “I chose a weaker team and went easy on you,” are a few of the phrases they will use to justify their losses. Gracefully accepting defeat is not in their blood.
The Disgrace
Let's say your best finisher is through on goal and you're about to take the shot to score and at that exact moment your opponent pauses the game because he needs to make a substitution. Infuriating right? Not only that, they also tend to quit early when they are in a losing position as well as restarting/quitting when they are in a solitary goal lead citing “you lost this bro”. If only there was a way to ban them from FIFA altogether, the game would have been so much better.
The Show-Off
Right when you think it couldn't get any worse, you meet the show-offs - the type who will beat you in a game and remind you of it for 3 years. Worse yet, they will bring it up in friendly gatherings and make a laughing stock out of you leaving you wondering how nice it would be to high five them in the face with a steel chair.
I'm sure that most of you FIFA lovers reading this article will relate to it and remember those friends who are annoying players of the game and if you're one of them, please change.
