Hair care product brand TRESemmé held a grand fashion show in the capital, titled “TRESemmé presents The Lustrous Runway”, on June 3 at the Sky Ballroom of Le Meridien. Lisa Ray, Bollywood actress and model, walked the ramp as the showstopper wearing Sarah Karim. Internationally-famed designer Neeta Lulla also presented her couture. A number of other Bangladeshi and international designers also took part in the show.
A grand premiere of new Hollywood release “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” was held in the capital's Blockbuster Cinemas on June 2. Jamuna Group Director Zakir Hossain, singer Hridoy Khan, and National cricketer Soumy Sarkar were among the present celebrities and guests. The Dave Green-directed live-action version of the popular children's cartoon show was released at Blockbuster on June 3, same day as its US release.
