The government has promoted six of its officials to the rank of secretary.

The public administration ministry today issued a gazette notification in this regard.

Those who were promoted are Quazi Akhter Uddin Ahmed, acting secretary of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Md Nurunnabi Talukder , acting secretary of Bangladesh Public Service Commission, Ashok Madhab Roy, acting secretary of Ministry of Shipping, N M Ziaul Alam, acting secretary of Cabinet Division, Najimuddin Chowdhury, acting secretary of Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and Md Abdullah, Rector of Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy.
