Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam today lambasted the civil society for “making student politics tough”.

Addressing a discussion organised by the Chhatra League, the student of the ruling party, the public administration minister said, “Civil society thinks that Chhatra League only does all the misdeeds like occupying dormitories and extortion.”

“Not only Chhatra League, but also other student organisations are facing problems,” he said.

Bangladesh Chhatra League organised the programme marking the birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and Sheikh Kamal at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) Auditorium of Dhaka University.
