Miuras in scale
The definitive petrolhead child's bedroom poster in the 90's was invariably a Lamborghini. No doubt it was a Countach, often with a hot blonde competing her curves against the acute angles of the Lambo. For me it was the Miura, a car that didn't need a curvaceous female to compensate.
The Jota is a special variant with upgraded everything and we have Kyoshos 1:18 and 1:43 scales for review. The bigger one is nearly impossible to find but if you can it is about $100. The smaller 1:43 starts from about $40 but some colours reach triple digits. The detailing is mind boggling. Watch out for paint blisters though. A 1:18 Miura by Welly is a much better deal starting at $25 on eBay.
And if all else fails but you must have a Miura, Matchbox makes the best budget version. Excellent at less than 500tk.
