Mustafizur Rahman, Bangladesh’s 20-year-old pace bowling sensation who took the world by storm with his spectacular debut for his country will fly for United Kingdom tomorrow to play for Sussex County Cricket Club.

“Mustafizur Rahman has received his visa and will fly out for United Kingdom tomorrow morning,” confirmed Bangladesh Cricket Board today. The left-arm pacer’s arrival in the UK for the NatWest T20 Blast was delayed due to visa issues, and he had to apply after the Eid holidays were over.

As it is expected that Mustafizur will leave on the morning of July 20, he may have an opportunity to play in Sussex’s July 21 fixture at Essex. This leaves him with only seven possible appearances in the 2016 English season.

He had already missed most of Sussex's T20 and one-day campaign through multiple injuries on his right leg following IPL 2016 where he turned out for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On July 1, BCB cleared Mustafizur Rahman to play for Sussex. However, his participation was thrown into uncertainty by the BCB’s medical team, which feared that the cricketer might be burnt out after arduous campaigns in the ICC World Twenty20 and the Indian Premier League.

Fizz helped Sunrisers Hyderabad win their maiden IPL title with 17 wickets from 16 matches. He was named emerging player of the tournament, the first foreign cricketer to be bestowed with the honour, after conceding just 6.9 runs per over, the lowest among those who bowled in at least ten matches.
