Tommy Emannuel

When US guitarist Chet Atkins, famously known as 'Mr. Guitar' -- called Australian virtuoso guitarist Tommy Emannuel about recording an album with him, Emannuel immediately got to work and wrote the song, “Mr Guitar” as a dedication to him.

The photo shows Emannuel playing it to him over the phone from his Melbourne home to Chet in Nashville. Emannuel's daughter Amanda is holding the phone up to my guitar as he plays the song. Emannuel later gave Atkins this photo, and it was on his fridge until he died in 2001.
