2 ‘Bangladeshis’ among 6 held for ‘terror link’ in India
Hyderabad police in India today arrested six people, including two alleged Bangladeshi nationals, for their suspected links with terror groups and human trafficking.
A South Zone Task Force team detained a Pakistani citizen, a Myanmar national and two Indian agents along with the alleged Bangladeshis from the southern Indian city, said Joint Commissioner of Hyderabad Police (Detective Department) T Prabhakar Rao.
The Bangladeshis were named as Faizal Mohammad and Joynal Abedin, reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting Rao.
Rao said Pakistani national Mohammed Nasir was picked up for his alleged links with Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Huji) and helping an Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative.
