Tk 5 lakh bounty announced again for Selim

Dhaka Metropolitan Police today again announced a bounty of Tk 5 lakh for Selim, a top leader of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team, seeking information for his arrest in connection with killing several bloggers including Avijit Roy.

The law enforcers sought information from the people about Selim through a mobile app named “Hello CT”, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of DMP media wing.

Earlier, DMP announced a bounty for Selim alias Iqbal alias Mamun alias Hadi-2 on May 19 with the same amount of money.

According to police, Selim is one of the masterminds of killing blogger Avijit Roy and organiser of killing Jagriti Prakashani owner Faisal Arefin Dipan, Niladri Niloy, Oyasiqur Rahman Babu, Nazim Uddin Samad, Xulhaz Mannan and Mahbub Tonoy.
