Govt satisfied with Quasem’s verdict

The government is happy with the Supreme Court verdict that dismissed Mir Quasem Ali’s petition that sought a review of his death for wartime offense.

After the verdict was delivered this morning, Law Minister Anisul Huq said that Mir Quasem Ali will be executed after completing necessary formalities.

“I am satisfied with the Supreme Court judgment on Mir Quasem as the nation has got justice,” he told The Daily Star.
