Another kid tortured brutally in Dhaka

A minor boy was brutally tortured allegedly by pumping air into his body through rectum in Mohammadpur of Dhaka this afternoon.

Victim Aaron, 11, is a worker of Meghla Automobiles, a motor workshop in Katasur area, said Saddam Hossain, owner of the workshop.

The incident took place around 4:00pm after Saddam went home leaving Aaron along with his co-workers Shariful and Rabbi, who are of similar age to the victim, at the motor workshop.

After Saddam returned to the workshop at 4:00pm, he found Aaron severely injured.

Shariful and Rabbi, who are now absconding, pumped air through Aaron’s rectum, Saddam told The Daily Star quoting the victim.

He was later admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition, said Sub-inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
