These pink water lilies have started to blossom in the lakes of Barisal making the vast lakes of the area assume this extraordinary look around this time every year. People from all over the country gather around the lakes to enjoy the floral display on the liquid landscape. These water lilies are not only aesthetically pleasant but also many of the poor families of the area sell these at markets across Barisal and adjacent areas.
