WFM Nazrana Khan Eva took the solo lead in the Saif Global Sports 36th National Chess Championship at the close of the fourth round at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room yesterday.

Nazrana toppled WIM Rani Hamid and grabbed the lead with the maximum four points as she maintained her hundred per cent win record by defeating her illustrious opponent on the 81st move.

Hamid has now slipped to the second position which she shares with WFM Sharmin Sultana and Smiha

Sharmin Shimmi as each of them have three points.
