STICK HERO - SIMPLISTIC COMPLEXITY

Time and again, we stumble across mobile games that push the limits of our patience while enticing us with their seemingly simple mechanics which are oh-so-complex to master. Stick Hero is one of those games. You play as a stout, black creature who is the aforementioned "hero" of the game. Your task is to traverse multiple columns with your infinitely-extendable stick. The game's mechanics involve you holding down on your screen to make the stick the perfect size to bridge the gap between columns. Sounds very simple but you would have to be pin-point accurate with your measurement because if your stick turns out too short or too long, your hero will fall off. While your hero runs through the stick you have the option to flip his position to get fruits (the currency used in the game to purchase more lives). There is also another mode which sees you slashing fruits with your stick while avoiding contact with the platforms. This is a stark contrast to the default mode and it's much less difficult.
